So back in July, Justice made a mix for the Dior Homme Summer 2009 Fashion show entitled Planisphère. They’ve split it off into three parts, and a final unreleased track.

I’ve put up the first track, Planisphère (Part 1), which so ridiculously sick. It has funky bass slapping and of course the syncopated synths and there’s a slight touch of piano at the beginning, completely on par with Justice. Definitely download it and hear what they’ve been up to.

Stars released their new EP, Sad Robots, today. If this doesn’t excite you, then you’ve never heard the following two songs.

MP3| Your Ex-Lover is Dead – Stars

MP3| Take me to the Riot - Stars

Their songs are emotionally tinted yet musically underplayed and modest, although any other band would sound like they are trying too hard. When they use strings or trumpets, it’s done modestly and as part of the song, not fluff like many other bands use it. Each time you listen to them, you feel like your hearing them for the fist time again. Do not hesitate to buy Sad Robots or any of their albums.
